Ingredients:
1. Suji/rava: 1 cup
2 . Curd: 1/2 cup
3. Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
4 Boiled potatoes: 1
5. Carrot: 1 grated
6. Capsicum: 1 small, chopped
7. Onion: 1, chopped
8. Boiled peas: 1/4 cup
9. Green chilli: 2, chopped
10. Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
11. Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
12. Garam masala powder: 1/4 tsp
13. Black mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
14. Salt: to taste
15. Cooking oil: 3 Tbsp
Method:
1 In a bowl, mix 1 cup of suji/rava with 1/2 cup of curd and a little water to make a smooth paste. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.
2 Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a pan. Add 1/4 tsp of black mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add chopped onion and green chilli, and sauté.
3. Add grated carrot, chopped capsicum, boiled . peas, and boiled and peeled potatoes. Mix well
4. Add salt, turmeric powder, black pepper
powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well.
5. Add coriander leaves and let it cool.
6. In a tadka pan, heat 1 tsp of oil. Add black mustard seeds and let them crackle. Add the tadka to the suji batter and mix well.
7. Place a tava on the gas stove and put 1 tsp of oil on it. Take a tbsp of suji batter and spread it on the tava. Take some vegetable mixture in a tbsp and spread it on the suji batter. Cover the vegetable mixture with another layer of suji batter.
8. After 1 minute, turn the other side. When both sides become crispy, cut into pieces and serve with chutney or tomato sauce.
